The purposes of this interactive WWW software are
to introduce students to actuarial and insurance principles
to help students visualize concepts; and
to provide an opportunity for students to test the sensitivity of relevant functions.
Examples of this series are:
Our AFS Mathematics of Finance module, which coincides with the topics found in Kellison's Theory of Interest and the Society of Actuaries' Course 2 is an example of one of our courses in this series.
Another example of this category is our “Actuarial Notation Made Easy” module. The purpose of this module is to provide a user-friendly interactive facility that teaches actuarial notation.
